“Qeej Nkauj Ntsuab” is Hmong for “The Qeej Song of the Goddess Gao Joua.” This song was composed by Gaosong’s mother, Pang Her Vang and originally performed by Gaosong for the Hmong Minnesota New Year when she competed for the title of Ms. Hmong Minnesota in 2010.

The following recording was done in 2015 when Gaosong was Classical Minnesota Public Radio’s first Hmong artist in residence with their Class Notes Artist Program.
